Top reasons I love having early morning sessions in Savannah:
1) Typically it is not too hot
2) The foot traffic is scarce
3) and THAT LIGHT is absolutely perfect.
Jessica and Nick chose to have their engagement session in the middle of Savannah at the beautiful Forsyth Park. I have photographed here many times, and each time I find a new beautiful place for each couple. For this amazing couple, it was a row of pink crepe myrtles. I knew it was the time of year for them to be in bloom, so I just had to find at least one. What we found was so much better than one! Of course the Spanish moss and live oaks served their purpose as iconic Savannah back drops as well. I love everything about this session, especially this perfect, loving couple.
At the beginning of every session, (even weddings) I always ask if the couple has a specific photo they would like me to capture. When I asked this question before their session, Nick pulled out a photo of Jessica from his wallet. I believe he said it had been in there 7 years. He asked if I could get a photo of just his bride by herself so he could up date the photo in his wallet. Not only was I happy to do this for him, but I got some of him for her as well.
